Suwanee Photography

Hi! I'm Suwanee,

and I am currently based in the North West with my handsome husband Mark. Born in Thailand with experience living and traveling all over the globe, I bring a unique perspective to my photography. My work tells the human story in a way that transcends every cultural barrier. My passion is capturing people and places in beautiful light with my camera. Whether deep in the jungles of the Borneo rain forest mingling with the Iban warriors, chasing Geisha along the serene side streets in
Kyoto, or quietly witnessing genuine love on a wedding day, I am incredibly blessed to be a part of each event. I love the moment when people see themselves as truly beautiful for the first time through my photographs. I invite you to experience the world through my camera.

Joel + Daniel

March 23, 2009 • Personal

A few weeks ago, Mark and I braved the task of baby sitting our friends' two little boys thinking it would be easy and fun. Fun it was, but easy--we were way wrong!!  That just goes to tell you all how clueless we were at parenting. We discovered another new thing about children---sugar effects them immediately! We found this out at the ice cream shop---instantaneously Joel was shrieking and hands swinging up in the air while to my right, Daniel, covered from head to toe in drips, furiously licking the ice cream from the cup. We quickly found the nearest exit and left the shop and decided to take them to the park to burn off some sugar before returning them back to their parents. The fun part was easy, but keeping up with two little boys was not nearly as easy as we thought. We did get some adorable pictures though before the sugar attack, thank goodness!!

Marina + Andrew = True Love

March 12, 2009 • Personal

There were just too many good shots to post them all, so I made several story telling collages with the images instead. Let me tell you, this session made me want to be Marina and have Andrew as my little boyfriend...They were just soooo adorable I could seriosly cry. I found myself just smiling, laughing, oohing and aahing all by myself the entire time I edited these images...Look at them, how could you not? Look at each image carefully and how they progressed and interacted with each other...it was amazing to witness their innocent love for each other...they melted my heart right then and there...too cute for words... Meet Andrew and Marina-the world's cutest couple!Marina-the world's most beatiful little girl...this image of her takes my breath away...Then the real cuteness starts when Marina sits next to Andrew...Then Andrew wasn't sure what he thought of all that...until Marina persued him further...He then realized that he really liked that and decided to embrace Marina's innocent kisses...And he just couldn't resist her adorableness...

Once the table was turned---

They lived happily ever after...And that was how the world's cutest couple's love story was told...

In memory of...

March 06, 2009 • Personal

In honor of the occasion, I want to share some of the few old photographs I have in my possesion of my mom.

It's been a tough week this week, but it's something I needed to do and go through---all of it.
It's going to be a long road to healing, but time will heal, I'm confident and something beautiful is going to come out of it too. A big thank you to all for your love, support, and prayers through all of this, you helped me through this in more ways than you know.

Next week, I wil resume to blogging again.
