Where I"m at

I know it's been several quiet days on the blog front here. There are a couple of reasons for that. Since I use my blog to document my photography, my life, and my current happenings, I have to be honest with the readers here. One, I've been really really sick with something that I'm not sure of or what it is. I have never been sick like this before and it's taking every ounce of energy out of me to do anything. I guess I've never really appreciate how much energy I have until I'm sick. (So can that be my belated Thankful Monday post since I missed it this last week? ahhammm...!! ) Secondly, I can't believe I'm going to admit this publicly for the world wide web to read, but again, it's MY blog and I will confess it here...I've been feeling really down about Mark being gone over seas. When he was called in so last minute a couple of weeks ago and and so suddenly, it felt like he was ripped out of my heart...(So dramatic, I know, but I'm being completely honest, remember? )
I know I'm not the only military wife who goes through this process, but it never gets easier no matter how many times we have to go through it. My heart goes out to all the families and spouses who are separated from their loved ones. What gets me through something like this? Lots of prayers for sure. God never gives us more than we can handle and His Grace reaches out to His children who are in need.
Because I know Mark reads my blog when he's away, here's an image of us on our Agape day a few years back...Have a wonderful week.

Thankful for you
Today I'm thankful for you Markus. I'm thankful for the time together and sometime for the time apart...(O: As you are far right now, I want you to know I'm thinking, praying and thank God for your for every moment that we are apart. Much love,
Suwanee

Prayerful Monday
Today's thankful Monday is a little different because of the current issue in Japan-our beloved country and home for 4 years. Our hearts are sad and heavy with all the suffering the country is going through right now. I just want to remind everyone, today, to pray for the people and the country right now.
