I'm waiting for my main computer to come back fron being repaired and have very limited access to my normal work files. So please be patient as I'm trying to crank out sessions and images. Thank you for waiting! In the mean time, I do have access to this one image that I've shot a couple of years back in Japan...

New Brand, New Logo!
Yay!! I"m finally showing off my new logo after months of going through the process of re-branding. I'm in love with my new look, logo, color, and I'm back to being SUWANEE PHOTOGRAPHY, rather than Suwanee Lennon Photography. After some thoughts, talking, researching, and surveying, I'm 100% satisfy with my new brand! Ashley from Luxetera did an amazing job and I just can't get over this new look!!! Thank you Ashley!! I'm so excited to share with my blog readers the new look. I have also been working on new websites that will be featured in a few weeks along with a brand new blog!! I'm ultra excited and can't wait any longer to share, so here it is:

Kellie & The Red Lipstick Project.
I'm starting a new category called, " The Red Lipstick Project". Let me tell me where I'm coming from with this title. From all my travels, far and near, I've photographed many things, but one thing I've especially love is when I photograph women. My absolutely favorite moments are when these women see themselves through my view finder, many times, for the first time in their life, and let out surprise comments like, "Wow, I look beautiful", or "Wow, that doesn't look like me", or "Wow, let's do that again". Moments like these are what encourages me the most to keep on shooting, to keep on giving, and to keep on doing what I love, making people feel beautiful. I know we all struggle at some point or another with how we look, my self included, but my goal with this project is to make as many women feel beautiful as much as possible with my camera. The name, the red lipstick project, comes from a story that a friend told me of a book she read about the rescued women from the Nazi concentration camps whose food truck accidently shipped boxes of red lipsticks instead of food. But the lipsticks were still dispered to these women and they were later found with red lipstick on their lips. This story touches my core and speaks to me of our dignity and desire to be beautiful even if our circumstances are that of mud and mire. I truly believe that everywoman has a deep desire to feel and be beautiful no matter what circumstances or situations we come from. Thus I want to start this red lipstick project, dedicated to women from all parts of the world, young and old.
Let me tell you about Kellie- Kellie is a dear dear friend of mine, I'm so blessed to have known this girl. Kellie is a wife, a daughter, a sister, a teacher, a world traveler! We live only half 2 houses from each other and you can imagined all the fun we have together. And Kellie's in charge of helping me curate all my travel photos around the different venues in town. Kellie is extremely accomplished- a passionate speaker, professor at Gonzaga University and a PhD. student at http://www.columbia.edu/. Go Kellie! I'm honored to have Kellie featured on my blog as the first to let me show case her beauty for my Red Lipstick Project! Love them red shoes Kell!! Work it girl...Look at that perfect smile! And the sparkling eyes-girl-you are gorgeousss!!! And lastly, my favorite!
